ASME Flanged and Dished Heads

ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Flanged and Dished Heads (ASME F&D) are perfect for pressure vessels made to withstand limited pressure. Never the less the Flanged and Dished Heads possess a flatter or lower profile, which makes them an ideal fit for pressure vessels that have a height restriction. The F&D heads are shallower than 2:1 heads, which means they need to be dished as deep as a 2:1 head.

ASME Flanged and Dished Heads have flatter heads than 2:1 elliptical heads, which ranks them an excellent choice for a mixing tank solution. Whereas the mixer can be mounted at a lower point in the tank itself.
