Antonius exhibiting at the Hydrogen & Carbon Capture Technology Expo in Bremen 27-28 September
On September 27th and 28th, 2023, the Hydrogen and Carbon Capture Technology Expo will take place in Bremen. This must-attend event will bring together the entire supply chain to discuss various topics, including technologies and solutions for low-carbon hydrogen production, efficient storage, transportation and infrastructure, as well as advanced design, testing, development, manufacturing solutions, and advanced materials for hydrogen fuel cells.
More than 550 exhibitors in Bremen
We will be present (Booth 4D180) at this exhibition alongside more than 550 exhibitors. Both Rob Derix (Commercial Director) and Dave van den Bosch (Sales Engineer) will be present on both days.
“In my opinion, we are still in the early stages when it comes to technologies & solutions for a low-carbon hydrogen future. With all the developments rapidly approaching, I want to be a part of it. You can gradually see partnerships forming, and I look forward to meeting as many parties as possible at this expo. These connections will undoubtedly lead to valuable partnerships; I’m sure of it.” – Rob Derix, Commercial Director at Antonius
Antonius in carbon capture and hydrogen
We are receiving more and more requests related to Hydrogen and Carbon Capture. The first projects have already been completed. In the hydrogen sector, we currently produced very thick carbon steel heads for hydrogen storage. In carbon capture, we see more and more large scale projects emerging. At Antonius, we possess expertise in material knowledge, production, welding techniques, and all the necessary certifications to supply these emerging markets. Our location by the water ensures that logistics are not an issue, even for very large-scale projects.
Bremen vs. Rotterdam
We were already present at the Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam, and as mentioned, there was a real buzz going on there. We believe that Bremen will be no different. However, we anticipate that the Bremen expo will attract a slightly different audience. Of course, there will be more exhibitors and visitors from Germany, but due to its location, it is also convenient for attendees from the Nordics. Besides the UK, we see that countries like Denmark, Norway, and Sweden are actively pushing towards a low-carbon, free hydrogen future.
Integrating into each other’s supply chains
We must collaborate to make this transition possible. There must be a strong desire to integrate into each other’s supply chains to get the wheels in motion. It’s heartening to see that the opening hours have been extended due to the numerous registrations, as Rob Derix mentioned. We’ve already spoken with some of our customers, and we look forward to welcoming them in Bremen. It’s truly fascinating for everyone to witness the scale of this movement, and you can literally see it at such an expo.
In conclusion
We invite everyone from this platform to visit us. We also look forward to meeting other exhibitors. If you plan to attend the expo or if you’re an exhibitor, please let us know, and we’d be happy to schedule a meeting.
Best regards,
Rob Derix Director at Antonius
